No person may, in the course of lobbying activities, disclose confidential information obtained in or in connection with the previous exercise of a public office, or advise anyone on the basis of information that is not available to the public concerning either the parliamentary, governmental or municipal institution in which the person held a public office, or a person with which the person had significant and direct relations in the year preceding the date on which the person ceased to hold a public office in that institution.
