74.4. The spouse of an employee referred to in the first and second paragraphs of section 74.1 may, upon the death of the employee, obtain that the refund of the amount referred to in that section be cancelled if the spouse applies therefor to Retraite Québec before the amount is received. In such a case, the application for a refund is deemed never to have been made.
