47. In order to recover an amount owed, the Minister may use, in addition to any recovery measure under this Act, any remedy or become a party to any proceeding to foster the execution of the obligation of support.
47. In order to recover an amount owed, the Minister may use, in addition to any recovery measure under this Act, any remedy or become a party to any proceeding to foster the execution of the obligation of support.
The Minister may use any measure for compulsory execution under the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25). In such a case, he shall act in the capacity of seizing creditor on behalf of the creditor of support.
He may also exercise any of the powers of a creditor under articles 543 to 546.1 of the said Code.
