Disposition versions
210.3.12. An application for a change of legislative authority may be combined with an application for a change of name.
An application for a change of name filed by a local municipality governed by the Municipal Code of Québec (chapter C-27.1) the purpose of which is to substitute the word “Ville” for another word is inadmissible if it is not combined with an application for a change of legislative authority. An application for a change of legislative authority by a municipality governed by the Cities and Towns Act (chapter C-19) that is not accompanied by an application for a change of name in which “Ville” is replaced by another word is also inadmissible.
210.3.12. An application for a change of legislative authority may be combined with an application for a change of name.
