21. Notwithstanding subparagraphs a and c of the first paragraph of section 20, the Bureau must enter in the register provided for in that section every person who(a) applies therefor in writing to the Order before 1 June 1987;
(b) practised acupuncture in Québec before 8 September 1986;
(c) is a graduate of a school of acupuncture where he received at least 1,000 hours’ theoretical and clinical instruction in the subjects prescribed by regulation; and
(d) passes the examinations determined and controlled by a committee of examiners composed of three persons, two of whom are appointed by the Bureau and the other by the Office des professions du Québec.
Where persons meet the requirement set forth in subparagraph a of the first paragraph, the examinations provided for in subparagraph d of the first paragraph shall be held not later than 31 December 1987.
Persons who fail the examinations provided for in subparagraph d of the first paragraph must have the opportunity to present themselves, within six months following failure, for a new session of examinations determined and controlled by a committee of examiners composed in accordance with such paragraph.
