J-1 - Newspaper Declaration Act
Section 13
Disposition versions
13. In some part of every newspaper, pamphlet or other paper there shall be printed the real name, occupation and domicile of every printer and publisher thereof, and also a true description of the place where the same is printed; and any person knowingly and wilfully printing or publishing, or causing to be printed or published, any such newspaper, pamphlet or other paper not containing the particulars aforesaid, shall incur a fine of $80.
13. In any proceeding to recover such fine, proof, as hereinafter mentioned, that the person proceeded against is a printer or publisher of a newspaper, pamphlet or other such paper so printed and published as aforesaid, shall be proof that such party is a person wilfully and knowingly printing or publishing the same, or causing the same to be printed or published unless the contrary be satisfactorily established.
