8. (Repealed).

8. No council or administrative authority of a city or town of the Province, constituted under any general or special act, in which a Municipal Court is established, shall, by by-law, resolution or otherwise, reduce, in any manner whatsoever, the amount of the annual salary assigned to the Municipal judge at the time of his appointment.
