Section 28 Disposition versions

28. Except in the case of a fiscal law within the meaning of the Act respecting the Ministère du Revenu (chapter M-31), penal or civil proceedings or actions under the provisions of an Act in respect of which responsibilities are entrusted to the enterprise registrar, and appeals under such an Act in accordance with the Code of Penal Procedure (chapter C-25.1), are instituted in the name of the enterprise registrar despite any incompatible provision in such an Act, if the objects of the proceedings, actions or appeals concern the exercise of the functions or a responsibility of the enterprise registrar.

28. The Inspector General or Deputy Inspector General may not contract a loan with a partnership or legal person governed by an Act assigned to the Inspector General’s administration or that confers functions or powers on him unless the Minister has prior information thereof in writing.

28. No person holding the office of Inspector General or superintendent may contract a loan with a partnership or corporation governed by an Act under the Inspector General’s administration or that confers functions or powers on him unless the Minister has prior information thereof in writing.
