26. In no case may the Inspector General or Deputy Inspector General, under pain of forfeiture of office, have a direct or indirect interest as a shareholder in an undertaking putting his own interest in conflict with his official duties.
However, forfeiture is not incurred if the interest devolves to him by succession or gift, provided he renounces or disposes of it with dispatch.
