43. Unless the by-law contemplated in section 44 is applicable to him, sections 33 and 35 apply to every person who between 1 January 1972 and 31 December 1974 was a member of the council of a municipality which joined the general plan and who is no longer a member of the council on 1 January 1975, as if such person was participating in the general plan.
This section applies only to the members of the council of a city or town corporation.
