45. A teacher, who, in accordance with the regulations made for such purpose by the Government, is teaching temporarily under an authority with which no agreement has been made under section 44, may have his period of service under such other authority counted for the purpose of obtaining a pension under this act, provided that he pays to the Commission during such period an amount determined, mutatis mutandis, in the manner provided in section 31.
