84. (Repealed).

84. This division applies to mining exploration licences issued before 22 November 2000.
Beginning on that date, no mining exploration licence may be issued for exploration in land situated to the north of the 52° of latitude.

84. The holder of a mining exploration licence has an exclusive right to explore for mineral substances in the territory for which the licence is issued, except surface mineral substances, petroleum, natural gas and brine.
