53. It shall be lawful, in any civil suit instituted for printing any extract from or abstract of any such report, paper, vote or proceeding, to give in evidence such report, paper, vote or proceeding, and to show that such extract or abstract was published in good faith and without malice; and if such evidence be given, the action shall be dismissed.
The same applies if, in the case of a broadcast of extracts or of any part of the proceedings of the National Assembly or any of its committees, evidence is given that such broadcast was made in good faith and without malice.
