50. A prohibition by-law may, at any time and notwithstanding any provision of any other law inconsistent herewith, be repealed by the municipal council that adopted it, or be amended by such council under a by-law specifying the nature of permits that the Commission may grant in the municipality over which such council has jurisdiction.
Any local municipal council may, by by-law, at any time and for the territory under its jurisdiction, repeal a prohibition by-law made by a county municipal council, or amend it by specifying the nature of permits that the Commission may grant in the municipality subject to the jurisdiction of such local council.
Every by-law made under this section must be submitted for approval to the electors of the county or local municipality concerned, in accordance with the Temperance Act.
