Section 3 Disposition versions

3. The prothonotary shall enter each declaration in the book kept by him for the registration of declarations of partnerships.

In addition, he must enter in the indexes mentioned in section 12 every corporate name and name contemplated in section 1.

To be registered, a firm name must be in the French language.

Not in force

The declaration of a company made under section 1 may be registered only if its corporate name or any other name mentioned therein complies with the law and the regulations applicable made or approved by the Government and not reserved for a third person under the Companies Act (chapter C-38).
