C-61.01 - Natural Heritage Conservation Act

58. The Minister shall enter into an agreement with the owner of the reserve.
The agreement must, in particular, include
(1)  the cadastral designation of the property;
(2)  a statement that the recognition is perpetual, or the term for which it is granted;
(3)  a description of the characteristics of the property that are of conservation interest;
(4)  the management arrangements for the property;
(5)  the conservation objectives and measures, including the use restrictions applicable to the property; and
(6)  the sanctions applicable for non-compliance with obligations arising from the agreement.

58. The Minister shall publish a notice stating that the property is recognized as a nature reserve in the Gazette officielle du Québec and in a newspaper circulated in the region concerned or, if there is no such newspaper, in the region closest to the recognized property.
The recognition takes effect on the date of the publication of the notice in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
