Section 12.2
Disposition versions
12.2. Property is presumed to be proceeds of unlawful activity in any of the following situations:
(1) it is a cash sum found near prohibited substances within the meaning of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19) or the Cannabis Act (S.C. 2018, c. 16) or near equipment used to traffic in or produce such substances; or
(2) it is a cash sum of $2,000 or more the disposition of which is incompatible with the practices of financial institutions.
