970.1. Subject to article 273, if the Court of Québec is seized of actions having the same legal ground or raising the same questions of law, one of which is a claim pursued in accordance with this Book, the judge seized thereof must suspend the hearing thereof until judgment is rendered on the other action, having force of res judicata, if a party applies therefor and if no serious prejudice results therefrom to the adverse party.
