In granting a separation from bed and board, marriage annulment or divorce or for the dissolution or annulment of a civil union, the court adjudicates in respect of accessory motions, particularly motions concerning the custody, support and education of the children and the support due to the spouse and children; at the same time, or later, if circumstances so warrant, it adjudicates in respect of matters relating to the family patrimony and other patrimonial rights resulting from the marriage or civil union.
