Within ten days after the period for filing an opposition for payment, the seizing officer, if no opposition for payment has been filed with him, pays to the seizing creditor the moneys seized or levied, after deducting the taxed costs, and returns his minutes of seizure and sale into court; if an opposition for payment has been filed with him, he must also pay the money into court, to be adjudged to those entitled thereto.
