589. The seizing officer may at any time demand from the seizing creditor advances of money, fixed by the prothonotary, to cover the costs of safekeeping; if such advances are not paid, the seizure is discharged.
However, where a collector of support payments acts as seizing creditor, pursuant to article 659.3, no advance of money may be demanded from the seizing officer.
