The holder of a forestry permit who ships or allows to be shipped timber the holder is authorized to harvest under this Act to a destination other than the processing plant or plants specified in the permit is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $40 to $200 for each cubic metre of timber shipped to that destination, unless authorized to do so under this Act.
The holder of a timber supply guarantee who ships or allows to be shipped to a destination other than the processing plant specified in the guarantee timber the guarantee holder purchased under the guarantee, unless authorized to do so under this Act, is also guilty of an offence and liable to the same fine.
