Section 44
Disposition versions
44. The maximum indemnity payable from the fund is set at $300,000 for all claims in respect of a member and at $80,000 per claimant in respect of this same member.
Where the total of the claims allowed by the board of directors in respect of a member exceeds the maximum indemnity provided for in the first paragraph, the indemnity is allocated among the claimants on a prorata basis according to the amounts of the claims allowed.
