3.02. Subject to the exceptions set out in section 3.02.01, the Code applies to all construction work on a plumbing system in
(1)  a building to which the Building Act (chapter B-1.1) applies or outside such a building but within the limits of the property on which it is situated;
(2)  a facility intended for use by the public that is a tent or an air-supported structure to which Chapter I of the Construction Code applies and which is used
(a)  for residential, care, treatment or detention occupancy whose floor area is 100 m2 or more, or
(b)  for assembly or mercantile occupancy whose floor area is more than 150 m2 or whose load capacity is more than 60 persons.
For the purposes of this section, the definitions of plumbing system and building are those provided in the Code, as adopted by this Chapter. In addition, the definitions of the following terms are those provided in the National Building Code, as adopted by Chapter I of the Construction Code: tent, air-supported structure, residential occupancy, care occupancy, treatment occupancy, detention occupancy, floor area, assembly occupancy, mercantile occupancy.

3.02. Subject to the amendments made by this Chapter, the Code applies to all construction work on a plumbing system in
(1)  a building to which the Building Act (chapter B-1.1) applies; or
(2)  a facility intended for use by the public that is a tent or exterior inflatable structure to which Chapter I of the Construction Code (chapter B-1.1, r. 2) applies and is used
(a)  as residential occupancies or care, treatment or detention occupancies whose floor area is 100 m2 or more, or
(b)  as assembly occupancies or mercantile occupancies whose floor area is more than 150 m2 or whose load capacity is more than 60 persons.
For the purposes of this section, the definitions of plumbing system and building are those provided for in the Code, as adopted by this Chapter. In addition, the definitions of the following terms are those provided for in the National Building Code, as adopted by Chapter I of the Construction Code: tent, inflatable structure, residential occupancy, care occupancy, treatment occupancy, detention occupancy, floor area, assembly occupancy, mercantile occupancy.

3.02. Subject to the amendments made by this Chapter, the Code applies to all construction work on a plumbing system in a building to which the Building Act (chapter B-1.1) applies or in a facility intended for use by the public designated in the second paragraph of this section.
For the purposes of section 10 of the Act, tents or exterior inflatable structures to which Chapter I of the Construction Code applies are facilities intended for use by the public and used
(a)  as residential occupancies or care or detention occupancies whose floor area is 100 m2 or more; or
(b)  as assembly occupancies or mercantile occupancies whose floor area exceeds 150 m2 and whose load capacity exceeds 60 persons.
For the purposes of this section, the definitions of plumbing system and building are those provided for in the Code, as adopted by this Chapter. In addition, the definitions of the following terms are those provided for in the National Building Code, as adopted by Chapter I of the Construction Code: tent, inflatable structure, residential occupancy, care or detention facility, floor area, assembly occupancy, mercantile occupancy.
