1. A local municipality must, not later than 15 May of each year, provide the following information for the preceding calendar year using the form prescribed by the Minister:(1) the number of reports it has received in accordance with sections 2 and 3 of the Regulation respecting the application of the Act to promote the protection of persons by establishing a framework with regard to dogs (chapter P‑38.002, r. 1) from(a) a veterinary surgeon;
(b) a physician;
(2) the number of dogs that underwent an examination by a veterinary surgeon during the year pursuant to section 5 of the Regulation;
(3) the number of dogs that the local municipality declared potentially dangerous during the year pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Regulation;
(4) the number of dogs that the local municipality ordered to have euthanized during the year under an order made pursuant to the first paragraph of section 10 of the Regulation;
(5) the number of dogs that the local municipality ordered to have euthanized during the year under an order made pursuant to subparagraph 2 of the first paragraph of section 11 of the Regulation;
(6) the total number of dogs registered pursuant to section 16 of the Regulation and the number of dogs(a) weighing 20 kg or more;
(b) declared potentially dangerous.
A local municipality that adopted a regulation referred to in section 7 of the Act to promote the protection of persons by establishing a framework with regard to dogs that prescribes stricter standards must indicate that on the form.
For the purposes of section 1, a reference to a provision of the Regulation respecting the application of the Act to promote the protection of persons by establishing a framework with regard to dogs (chapter P-38.002) must be considered a reference to the corresponding provision of a municipal by-law referred to in section 7 of the Act that prescribes stricter standards.
