27. Expenses incurred for transportation by taxi or by an automobile considered to be a taxi within the meaning of section 4 of the Highway Safety Code (chapter C-24.2) qualify for reimbursement in the following instances:(1) when the victim’s state of health precludes the use of public transit;
(2) where public transit does not serve the itinerary that must be travelled;
(3) when using a taxi or an automobile considered to be a taxi is more economical than using public transit.
