6. Notwithstanding section 2, a holder of a management permit for mining activities who lays out an access to a peat bog with a pond, to a swamp, to a marsh, to a lake or to a permanent watercourse in order to carry out mining exploration activities or to install equipment required by such operations or a holder of a management permit who digs a drainage ditch for silvicultural purposes may clear an opening not wider than 5m in the buffer strip.
A holder of a management permit for mining activities shall preserve the stumps, grass and advance growth in that opening.
