Regulation dividing the territory of Québec into regions for the purposes of elections to the board of directors of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec

1. In order to ensure adequate regional representation on the board of directors of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, the territory of Québec is divided into 8 regions:
(a)  the Nord-Est region;
(b)  the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region;
(c)  the Québec region;
(d)  the Trois-Rivières region;
(e)  the Cantons de l’Est region;
(f)  the Montréal region;
(g)  the Outaouais region;
(h)  the Nord-Ouest region.

2. The territory of the Nord-Est region is that of regions 1 and 9 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec (chapter D-11, r. 1).
The territory of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region is that of regions 2 and 14 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Québec region is that of regions 3, 11 and 12 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Trois-Rivières region is that of regions 4 and 17 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Cantons de l’Est region is that of regions 5 and 16 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Montréal region is that of regions 6, 13 and 15 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Outaouais region is that of region 7 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.
The territory of the Nord-Ouest region is that of regions 8 and 10 described in Schedule I of the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.

3. The representation of each region on the board of directors of the Order is the following:
(1)  1 director elected for the Nord-Est region;
(2)  1 director elected for the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region;
(3)  3 directors elected for the Québec region;
(4)  1 director elected for the Trois-Rivières region;
(5)  1 director elected for the Cantons de l’Est region;
(6)  15 directors elected for the Montréal region;
(7)  1 director elected for the Outaouais region;
(8)  1 director elected for the Nord-Ouest region.

4. The directors elected before 15 April 1990 to represent the Nord-Est region remain in office until the end of their term but represent the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Nord-Est regions.
The directors elected before 15 April 1990 to represent the Outaouais/Nord-Ouest region remain in office until the end of their term but represent the Outaouais and Nord-Ouest regions.
The other directors elected before 15 April 1990 remain in office until the end of their term as representatives of the regions in which they have their professional domicile.
