The board of directors of a public institution must, by by-law, establish measures to prevent or put an end to the conflicts of interest that may arise from the awarding of a contract by the institution to a person employed by the institution or a person practising a profession in a centre operated by the institution, or from the awarding of a contract by the institution to an enterprise in which such a person has a direct or indirect interest.
