234. Where a company fails to change its name within the prescribed time, the Authority may of its own initiative assign it another name in the case of a Québec company or suspend or revoke its licence in the case of an extra-provincial company.
Where of its own initiative, the Authority assigns a name to a Québec company, it shall issue supplementary letters patent in duplicate and send one copy to the enterprise registrar who shall deposit it in the register of sole proprietorships, partnerships and legal persons.
