71. Every person who has been an active member for at least two years and whose period of continuous employment is terminated within ten years of the date on which he will attain normal retirement age is entitled to an early retirement pension.
However, a member who, before terminating continuous employment, becomes entitled to a deferred pension in respect of service completed with a former employer may receive early payment of the deferred pension if his entitlement to a deferred pension has not been transferred to the plan to which his employer is a party and if he applies therefor within ten years of attaining the normal retirement age set under the plan giving him entitlement to the deferred pension.
