Subject to any contrary provision contained in this Act or a regulation, no person may invoke the fact that he holds a permit or has furnished security required by this Act or a regulation, or is the representative of a person holding a permit or having furnished security required by this Act or a regulation, to hold out that his competence, solvency, conduct or operations are recognized or approved.
