When a school municipality is divided by the formation of a new municipality or by the annexation of a part of its territory to a neighbouring municipality, the municipality in which the school is situated shall retain the ownership thereof. When the religious minority in a municipality declare themselves dissentient, the majority shall retain the ownership of the school. In both cases, the provisions of section 43 shall apply.
