If opposition be made to the payment of the proceeds of the sale, the bailiff shall pay over the moneys in his hands, after deducting the costs of seizure and sale, to the director general, who shall receive them on deposit, and make a return of all his proceedings respecting the seizure and sale to the court.
The opposition shall afterwards be contested, heard and decided according to the rules of procedure governing oppositions for payment before the court before which it is brought.
The proceeds of the sale shall be distributed by the court, and paid by the director general according to its order.
