A child born as a result of sexual assault is considered as the descendant in the first degree of the person who committed the assault, despite the absence of a bond of filiation with regard to that person, for the purposes of the devolution of that person’s succession and of the succession of that person’s relatives.
Sexual assault may be proved, among other means, by the production of a judgment recognizing its existence.
