2257. Any action which may be brought against all the partners may also be brought against one or more of them, as partners of other persons, without naming the other persons in the action.
Where judgment is rendered against the partner or partners sued, all the other partners may be sued jointly or separately on the same cause of action. Where the action is based on an obligation set forth in a writing naming all the partners bound thereby, all of them must be parties to the action for the judgment to be set up against them.
