1749. If the reservation of ownership was published, a seller who elects to take back the sold property shall make a demand to the buyer and, where applicable, any subsequent acquirer, to remedy the default within 20 days in the case of movable property, or within 60 days in the case of immovable property, from registration of the demand in the appropriate register.
The rules pertaining to taking in payment set forth in the Book on Prior Claims and Hypothecs and the measures to be taken prior to the exercise of that right apply, adapted as required, to the taking back of the property.
