872. In all cases where its advice is required, a family council may be convoked by a judge having jurisdiction in the district where such advice must be given, or by the prothonotary of such district, at the demand of any one qualified to ask for it.
The persons who will be members of the council are notified of the order of convocation at the diligence of the applicant, with notice of the place where and the day and the hour when they are to present themselves.
The notification, which may be made by registered or certified mail, is, in addition, governed by the second paragraph of article 280.
