Notification to a natural person that cannot be made personally is made by leaving the document at the addressee’s domicile or residence in the care of a person who resides or works there and appears to be capable of receiving the document; if this cannot be done, notification may be made by leaving the document at the addressee’s business establishment or place of work in the care of the person in charge of the premises.
If the addressee’s place of work is a means of transportation such as a ship, an airplane or a bus, the document may, if need be, be notified by a technological means.
