54. In this subdivision, unless the context indicates a different meaning,

(1)  the words “axle load” mean the mass measured under the wheels of an axle or of the axles included in one category, resulting from the distribution on such wheels of the mass of a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles, including accessories, equipment and load;

(2)  the words “total loaded mass” mean the mass of a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles, including accessories, equipment and load; such mass may be expressed as the aggregate of the axle loads;

(3)  the word “load” means everything conveyed by a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles;

(4)  the words “combination of vehicles” mean all the vehicles drawn by a tractor vehicle, including the latter.

(1)  the words “axle load” mean the pounds of pressure exerted on the ground by all the wheels of an axle or combination of axles of one category resulting from the distribution on such wheels of the weight of a motor vehicle or combination of vehicles, including accessories, equipment and load;

(2)  the words “total loaded weight” mean the weight of a motor vehicle or combination of vehicles, including accessories, equipment and load, expressed as the aggregate of all its axle loads;

(3)  the word “load” means everything conveyed by a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles;

(4)  the words “combination of vehicles” mean all the vehicles drawn by a tractor vehicle, including the latter.
