44. Respecting public highways outside cities, towns and villages,

(a)  no motor vehicle shall be so parked as to impede access to any property, or near the intersection of two roads or in any other place where it might interfere with the traffic;

(b)  on a public highway, outside a residential or business area, no person shall permit his vehicle to be parked, whether occupied or not, on the paved portion of the road, if there is room to move it to the side; furthermore, a sufficient clear space must always be left to see the parked vehicle at a distance of 60 m in both directions; this provision shall not apply to a vehicle parked by reason of absolute necessity;

(c)  a motor vehicle shall not be permitted to stand within the limits of a highway while being fuelled;

(d)  Whenever a peace officer finds a vehicle parked on a public highway in violation of the provisions of paragraph a, b or c of this section, he may move it or require the person in charge thereof to move it;

(e)  a motor vehicle stopped at night on a public highway by reason of absolute necessity, must keep its parking lights burning or, if they be defective, the presence of such vehicle must be signalled by means of lanterns or other luminous devices adequate for that purpose, but without blinding or misleading the drivers of other motor vehicles travelling on such highway;

(f)  an autobus or commercial or delivery motor vehicle stopped at night by reason of absolute necessity must keep all its luminous signals burning in front and rear; if they be defective, the flares, lamps, lanterns or reflectors provided for in subsection 15 of section 28 of this act must be used.

(d)  Whenever a peace officer finds a vehicle parked on a public highway in violation of the provisions of paragraph a, b or c of this section, he may move it or require the person in charge thereof to move it;
