Section 519.33
Disposition versions
519.33. Every driver of a heavy vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of sections 212, 213, 215 to 223, 225, 228, 234, the first paragraph of section 235, any of sections 236, 237, 254, 258, 261 to 265, 269, 270, 272 or 273 is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $90 to $270.
Every owner or operator who operates or permits the operation of a heavy vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of the sections referred to in the first paragraph is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $175 to $525.
Every driver of a heavy vehicle that does not meet the requirements of section 441 is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $150 to $450.
Every owner or operator who operates or permits the operation of a heavy vehicle that does not meet the requirements of section 441 is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $300 to $900.
519.33. The driver of a motor vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of sections 212, 213, 215 to 223, 225, 234, the first paragraph of section 235, any of sections 236, 237, 254, 258, 261 to 265, 269, 270, 272, 273 and 441 is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $60 to $100.
Every carrier who operates or permits the operation of a motor vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of the provisions referred to in the first paragraph is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of $100 to $200.
519.33. The driver of a motor vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of sections 212, 213, 215 to 223, 225, 234, the first paragraph of section 235, any of sections 236, 237, 254, 258, 261 to 265, 269, 270, 272, 273 and 441 is guilty of an offence and is liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of $60 to $100.
Every carrier who operates or permits the operation of a motor vehicle that does not meet the requirements of any of the provisions referred to in the first paragraph is guilty of an offence and is liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of $100 to $200.
