35. (Repealed).

35. When the number of wards in a municipality is increased by the creation of one or more wards out of an annexed territory, each new ward shall be represented by the same number of councillors as the other wards of the municipality, and the councillors for such wards may be in excess of the number of councillors fixed by the charter.
