12.0.1. Every person who, during an event referred to in section 40 of the Fire Safety Act (chapter S-3.4), assists the firefighters of a municipal fire safety service after the person’s assistance has been expressly accepted or required pursuant to subparagraph 7 of the second paragraph of that section, is considered to be a worker employed by the authority responsible for the service. The right to return to work does not, however, apply to a person referred to in the first paragraph.
