53.11. As soon as practicable after the coming into force of the by-law amending the metropolitan plan or the RCM plan, the secretary shall publish a notice of the date of coming into force in a newspaper circulated in the territory of the responsible body. At the same time, the secretary shall send a certified copy of the by-law to every partner body.

As soon as practicable after the coming into force of the by-law amending the development plan, the secretary-treasurer shall publish a notice of the date of coming into force in a newspaper circulated in the territory of the regional county municipality. He shall, at the same time, transmit a certified copy of the by-law and, if applicable, of the document adopted pursuant to section 53.10 to every municipality in the territory of the regional county municipality and to every contiguous regional county municipality.

He shall, at the same time, transmit a certified copy of the by-law and, if applicable, of the document adopted pursuant to section 53.10 to every municipality in the territory of the regional county municipality, to every contiguous regional county municipality, and to the Commission for registration.
Where the council has adopted the document required under the first paragraph of section 53.10 by way of a reference, the secretary-treasurer shall transmit to the Commission a certified copy of the document adopted under the second paragraph of section 48.
