204.1. For the holder of any position contemplated in section 204, a remuneration or an additional remuneration may be attached to each category of functions of the regional county municipality. By category is meant all the functions in respect of the exercise of which the same group of council members is qualified to participate in deliberations and votes.

In the case provided for in the first paragraph, the holder of a position receives the remuneration of the additional remuneration which is attached to the category of functions which qualify him to participate in the deliberations and the vote of the council.

204.1. For the holder of any position contemplated in section 204, a remuneration or an additional remuneration may be attached to each category of functions of the regional county municipality among the following categories;

(1)  that of the functions contemplated in the first paragraph of section 188;

(2)  that of the functions contemplated in the second paragraph of section 188;

(3)  that of the functions referred to in section 1.1 of this Act and in the Act respecting municipal territorial organization (chapter O-9) in respect of an unorganized territory or, as the case may be, of a newly constituted municipality where a majority of the council members elected at the first election have not made oath.

(4)  (subparagraph replaced).

In the case provided for in the first paragraph, the holder of a position receives the remuneration of the additional remuneration which is attached to the category of functions which qualify him to participate in the deliberations and the vote of the council.
