32.1. The Minister may, in accordance with the applicable legislative provisions, enter into an agreement with a native community represented by its band council within the meaning of the Indian Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. I-5) or the Naskapi and the Cree-Naskapi Commission Act (S.C. 1984, c. 18), providing for the carrying out, by the native community, of building, rebuilding or maintenance work on a road at the expense of the Government.
