52. In all such suits, in case of contestation, the burden of proof shall be upon the defendant.
Notwithstanding articles 31 and 32 of the Code of Civil Procedure, such actions shall, as regards the jurisdiction of the court, procedure and costs, be dealt with as if they were purely personal actions in which the Crown is not concerned, and not relating to titles to lands or tenements, annual rents or matters wherein rights in future may be bound.
