112. When an exchange is made, the Minister may grant equivalent timber limits in return for the forest lands or timber limits so acquired. These grants shall have the same validity as if they resulted from a sale by auction under section 89.
Lands to be accepted and those given in exchange must first be inventoried to determine their worth for forestry. The value of the grants made must not be greater than that of the lands accepted in exchange. This value must be established finally by forest engineers authorized by the Minister.
