Under section 116b inserted in the Courts of Justice Act (Revised Statutes, 1964, chapter 20) by section 145 of chapter 20 of the statutes of 1977, a judge of the Youth Court may, at his request and within the prescribed periods, be appointed to the Court of the Sessions of the Peace by the Government.
Under this section 116b, a judge of the Youth Court has been appointed to the Court of the Sessions of the Peace, therefore the number of judges of the Court of the Sessions of the Peace must be correspondingly increased. (1977, c. 20, s. 145).
